I am dynamic number crunching bean counter (accountant and tax advisor) with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

In July 2018 I started my own podcast aptly named 'From the Valley Podcast' - Brisbane Business Life.

After 10 years of being a CPA in Public Practice I have now been awarded the title of Chartered Accountant by 'Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand' (CAANZ)
I have been instrumental in the development of the North Brisbane suburban accounting firm Confidential Tax & Business Services (CTBS).
I am a specialist in small business asset protection and structure advice. 
I was born in Tasmania, graduating from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma is Information Systems (GDIS)
I have had a lifetime experiencing the Australian Service Organisation of Apex. I am very passionate about building relationships and doing great things for the community. I have held various State & National positions in Apex. I have won awards in public speaking at a State and competed at a national level.
As a bean counter i have dealt with lots of different small business clients over the years including dentists, doctors, builders, truck drivers, post offices, electricians, sports professionals, music performers, motor mechanics and cafes. The most important thing I learnt in growing your business is generating referrals from other customers that have used your service or bought your products. Networking is fun and integral to business growth and development.

I love what I do and its hard to imagine doing anything else in the foreseeable future.
